Prep and Aftercare

Before your LASH appointment

  • Before your lash appointment remove your eye makeup. Please refrain from any coffee a couple hours prior to help you relax and enjoy!

  • If you have current lashes on, do a lash bath the day of your appointment. If you do not have this I sell it!

Before your BROW appointment

  • Do not work out 24 HOURS before procedure.

  • NO ALCOHOL OR CAFFEINE 24 HOURS BEFORE procedure.

  • Avoid sun tanning ONE WEEK prior to procedure.

  • Do not take aspirin, niacin, vitamin E or Advil/ Ibuprofen 24 HOURS before procedure.

  • Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical peels, microdermabrasian and Retin-a 4 WEEKS prior to your procedure.

  • No brow waxing or tinting ONE WEEK prior to procedure.

  • Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO AND TWO WEEKS AFTER your procedure. Check your moisterizer, facewash BB or CC creams and makeup primers for anything that says acid.

  • Discontinue use of retinol products or strong skin care products 30 DAYS prior to your procedure and 2 WEEKS AFTER your procedure.  

  • No botox in the area 2 WEEKS before and after your procedure.

  • Must be off of Acutane for at least 6 MONTHS.

    Please note, you are more sensitive to PMU procedures during your menstrual cycle.

Brow Contradictions

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Undergoing chemotherapy

  • Diabetic (requires doctors note)

  • Blood thinners (Contact me)

  • Have been or are on acutane in the last 6 months

Brow Aftercare

  • Please refrain from getting your brows wet for 1 week.

  • Sleep on a clean pillow case.

  • Pat the brows with a clean damp cloth, morning and night.

  • Do not pick or rub your brows, scabbing is normal!

  • Avoid strenuous activity for the first week.

  • Avoid facials, botox, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure (including tanning beds) for the first 4 weeks.

  • If your brows fade tremendously this is totally normal and is part of the healing process, this is why we have to do multiple sessions. Trust the process!
